Dark Mechanicus Kastelan Robots
During the Stygian Wars the Dark Magos manufactured their own version of kastelan robots. These Dark Kastelans took on a more feral appearance on the battlefield with the addition of clawed powerfists, Tusks, chains, and spikes. Capable of destroying armor or infantry with ease these terrifying robots stalked the battlefields. Often they were used in a shock force role their incendine combusters burning infantry out of trenches while their fists tore apart strongpoints with their heavy armor and repulsar grids repelling most attacks.
This model is the Cryx Seether kit with the addition of the carpace mounted flamer which was kit bashed together and then attached.
I just had this same idea hit me for the Castellax in my own Dark Mechanicum! How do you find they compare size-wise to the original? I'm thinking I might try and kitbash these with some Dark Eldar/Necron parts to create something truly...terrifying and unique.
