Alpha Legion Obliterators

Alpha Legion obliterator cults were frequently seen throughout the Stygian Wars in both offensive and defensive roles.  Offensively they were employed to suddenly sieze seize a key piece of terrain and bring enfilading fire down upon Imperial units in support of the Stygian advance.  Also they were often used in conjunction with militia units to land behind Imperial forces and seal off an ambush.  Defensively they could be found holding a fortified position acting as a strongpoint around which a defensive position was held.  With their great armor, firepower and daemonic attributes these obliterator cults were held as an elite unit throughout the Alpha Legion and the Stygian Empire.
