The Alpha Legion counteroffensive Harrowing continued that night in the capital city of Iberia Primus.  The nuclear strike that destroyed the eastern part of the city along with the Imperial regiments stationed there helped thin the veil between worlds.  Stygian militia emerged in the west from tunnels during the resulting confusion escorting psychers to tear the veil asunder in the west.  This the psychers did.

Daemons poured from the newly formed rifts in the west and the western artillery park was soon awash in blood and slaughter as the daemonic horde pouring through the rift overran the artillery park.
