Halting the southern advance

Grenada Reconquest- Iberian Campaign- Iberia- Iberia Primus-  Stygian Guard forces well dug in turn the open parts of the planetary capital into a killing ground that inflicts significant casualties on the advancing Imperial forces from the south.  The southern advance was so hard hit that it was temporarily halted even as the eastern advance continued and the northern advance was slowed.
