Even as a nuclear detonation struck in the east Alpha Legion marines emerged from secreted tunnels in the southern part of the city to launch a devastating attack on the main supply depot for the encircling Imperial forces.  This surgical strike coupled with others further hammered the stunned Imperials as the Alpha Legion harrowing counteroffensive continued to unfold.
