Using AI in 40k part 2

In our second part I am going to touch on a few other ways AI can be used in the hobby.

1 world and campaign creation.  You can use it to create worlds and even entire campaign creation.  While I personally wouldn't do so, I could see using it to help flesh out a campaign or world I have designed to create greater depth.  Below is a example.

2. Army theme and development.  Al can be used to help create themed armies.  You can use them to develop a look to help you create an army that you can then bring to life on the tabletop.  This might mean using 3rd party bitz that may not be gt worthy is perfectly acceptable amongst casual and narrative players.  Using the astra militarum for example.  Often folks want to create a themed army based on one in history.  In the below you will see AI images created from historical photos and then 40ked.  Included are the Russians from the 1905 Russian Japanese war.  WW1 Laurence of Arabia campaign.  WW2 Burma theatre WW2 North African campaign inspired and the Vietnam War in the 1960's.

3.  Artifact and detachment creation.  Al can also be used to create unique campaign relics and artifacts for one off campaigns.  I have included a specialized necron one below.  Al does not get game balance right with these things in my opinion and should be used as a starting point for the creation taking heavily into account the input of other participants of the campaign.  My friend Travis Jensen whose Black Legion is featured on this blog has taken it so far as to create custom detachments.  These have needed heavy revision and play testing.  I don't go this route and don't know how he does it, but it is possible and perhaps one day he will write an article here about his experience and how he does it.  He is the AI guy between the two of us hands down.

And finally Event Advertising - AI can be used to create unique advertising for your events and tournaments with a great visual to draw you in.  Use the pic, add event details and bam, you have a event advertisement.  I have included a few inspirational pics below that would serve as a great backdrop for a tournament or campaign event advertisement.

And that concludes my thoughts on using AI in the hobby.  Is there an aspect I missed?  Let me know in the comments if so as well as your thoughts.
