Clandestine meeting

 

Harkon met secretly in the ruins after the battle with the cultists leader he had spared at Rast's Refuge.  The cultist approached nervously and bowed.

     " My Lord," the cultist asked as he bowed.

     Checking to ensure none could see them Harkon took a visor and handed it to the cultist with a clipped order to put it on.  As the cultist did he suddenly went rigid as the hypnoconditioning device activated.  Harkon waited for several minutes and then began to speak.

     "You will observe all and report all to me.  You will begin to recruit from the mortals the silent and the sly.  You will pass onto them the lessons I pass to you.  You will do all in your power to serve Grimm until I say otherwise.  You will report to me once a week in secret to reveal all you have learned and for further instruction.  When I remove the visor you will forget from your conscious mind all I have said.  You will say only that I inquired on your ability to adapt to our warband.  Remove the visor and hand it to me now."

     The cultist handed Harkon the visor saying only that they were adjusting well to Grimm's warband.   Harkon dismissed him and watched him leave.  Seeds were being sown and it would be interesting to see what opportunities grew available to him as a result.
