Fire and vengeance crusade roster update 1
First update is the razorback gained the fatigued battle scar. If it fails 2 more out of action tests it will be destroyed and out of the campaign. I have gained 2 rp and used both of them to add enhancements to characters in the crusade roster. Furthermore The first game of the crusade I was running the precision strike oath sworn campaign. I have abandoned that and the second game was a unflinching bulwark oath sworn campaign. From that I now have 6 honor points.I spent 1 rp to give Chaplain Gaspar the honor vehement enhancement from the gladius task force detachment. This adds +1 to the attacks and strength characteristic of his melee weapons and +2 if running the gladius detachment under the effect of the assault doctrine.I spent 1 rp on Librarian Gabriel to give him the portents of wisdom enhancement from the stormlance task force detachment. Allowing him and any unit he is attached to, to reroll advance moves. In addition he has gained a single battle honor. I chose to give him the force field battle honor for psyker units from the Armageddon Crusade book. This battle honor states each time an attack targets this unit (excluding psychic attacks) if the strength characteristic of that attack is greater than the toughness of this unit subtract 1 from the wound roll.
Squad Alpha also gained a battle honor. I gave them the warp hunters battle trait from the infantry units list in the Armageddon Crusade book. This battle trait states- Each time a model in this unit makes an attack that targets the closest eligible target, you can reroll a wound roll of 1. If the target of that attack is an UNBOUND ADVERSARIES unit, and is the closest eligible target you can reroll the wound roll instead. Given the close range fire fights of the squad disembarking from rhino transports and with 2 flamers this struck me as particularly useful. And that is it for roster updates. A few units are close to leveling up and need only 1 or 2 games until they do so. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns leave them in the comments. I hope you have enjoyed this update.
