The watch knights chapter launched a crusade out of the Atticus sector into the stygian wars. Vanguard detachments led the way. Infiltrators made up the majority of the vanguard forces. They would recon in advance marking targets for follow on forces. In addition they committed sabotage as well as terror strikes. Their marksmanship allowed them to snipe enemy commanders at will before fading away before the enemy could retaliate.
