Daemonkin warbands became more prominent as the stygian wars dragged on and the great rift appeared. Masters of possession used the warp to create armies of demonic hybrids. As a result they were declared a alpha level threat and were targeted. However with their warp mastery and daemon hybrid hordes it was almost impossible to eliminate them.
