A halt to the pandemic

Draxis IV- The Draxis Pandemic- In the face of the pandemic loyalist forces and the uninfected populace fell back to safe zones with heavy fortifications.  The withdrawal however left segments of the population behind to draw the attention of the pox walkers while the safe zones were properly fortified.  Thus the sacrifice of some would lead to the salvation of the rest of the world.  Behind the heavy fortification the imperials were finally able to bring about a halt to the pandemic albeit at a high cost.
