Dacia Prime- Imperial search and destroy operations out of the firebases quickly encountered a new and terrifying threat. Chaos spawn had been released to hunt at will across the jungle. They would frequently stalk small imperial patrols and either pick them off one by one, or ambush and annihilate them. With their warp given strength and durability they posed a grave threat to imperial infantry. The terror of their attacks damaged morale. Patrols would often be cut short if the pdf forces even suspected they were being stalked, thus leaving the jungle in the hands of the insurgency to roam at will.
