Mechanicus War

Grenada Reconquest- Pyrenes, 3rd moon of Grenada- Pyrenes campaign- With the massacre of the 5th Kharkovian Guard regiment and the horrific losses suffered by the other regiments during the Pyrenes campaign the Imperial high command began to reevaluate the campaign to date.  Given the threat posed by the Dark Mechanicus it was agreed that only loyal mechanicum forces could defeat this new threat.  so it came to be that a large mechanicum force assaulted and began to drive back the resurgent Dark Mechancus forces in a series of brutal battles in the ice hell forests around the Dark mechanicus command and control facility.
