armor clash outside firebase Viper

Grenada Reconquest- Iberian Campaign- Iberia-  Stygian guard units clash in a running battle with units from the 5th Anglican guard regiment outside the road to the planetary capital and firebase Viper.  The brutal clash saw heavy casualties inflicted by both sides before Stygian forces withdrew back towards the protection of Firebase Viper.  The Anglican 5th Regiment was slow to pursue the Stygian forces which allowed some of the surviving armor to be dug in around the firebase.  Col. Gough of the 5th Anglican Guard regiment responded that his casualties had been so high that he had needed to reorganize rather than pursue the Stygian forces at his later court marshal prior his assignment within a penal legion.
