Seeding landing zones

 

Dacia Prime- The Alpha Legion led beastmen insurgents introduced a new tactic in their war on Dacia Prime.  They began seeding potential landing zones with booby trapped captured or unexplored ordnance.

The resulting explosion would destroy imperial aircraft and often kill or wound most of the troops trying to do the insertion.  This left roping in as the safest option available to the imperials but this left aircraft extremely vulnerable to ground fire and man pads.  These new tactics seriously damaged the imperials war efforts and morale.
