Dacia Prime- Insurgent forces attacked and overran forward Firebase Marbo. Using large packs of spawn as a shock force to clear the mine fields and create the initial perimeter breaches that were then exploited by the beast men. The spawn also induced terror and panic in the pdf forces. While some fought bravely to the end, many others fled or were taken captive. Within a month of the fall of Firebase Marbo three additional forward firebases were similarly attacked and destroyed. With the insurgency growing and the pdf failing to contain the threat Imperial planetary officials had no choice but to ask for aid. This was far from certain of being granted due to chaos ramp up of the Stygian wars in the sector.
