The Litovsk incident part 3

 

Alpha legion marines secured the dead drop and retrieved the armor plate of the thunder warrior for the Mt Arrat project.  A vindicator began thinning out the terminators and forced the Grey Knight captain into a sudden tactical withdrawal.

With the terminator numbers thinned the Alpha Legion marines moved in and finished them off with heavy chain axes and daemon blades.  The blood and organs were then used to lubricate and activate a warp device the legion had brought with them to Litovsk.  The legion had its prize but the truth of their objective on the planet would be hidden in the horror of a daemonic incursion.  The warp relic opened a hole and the denizens of the warp poured forth while the Alpha Legion evacuated sure that the planet would die in a daemonic invasion.   The lone Grey knight captain called desperately for aid as the horror of the warp was unleashed.
