Operation Headsman finale

 

Kushan IV- The last organized imperial resistance was at the Kazbek mine complex.  A lone Magos managed to rally a collection of survivors and attempt to hold out until imperial relief came from off planet.

The Alpha Legion and insurgents attacked in force. elite terminator squads teleported down from orbit to insure the eradication of any form of Imperial command.  The imperial forces were then wiped out ending organized resistance on Kushan IV.  Of the planet’s nearly 38 million inhabitants nearly 1.5 million had been killed during the conflict.  A further 2 million were subsequently purged with the remaining population serving the Stygian empire with a varied range of enthusiasm.  An additional 250,000 Stygian forces were brought in to strengthen the garrison of the planet.  Alpha Legion human agents and a number of legionnaires stayed on planet to act as training cadre for the 1.3 million inhabitants who sought to enter the pdf force and Stygian military.  Roughly 35,000 mutants who had fought successfully in the rebellion were allowed to join the Alpha Legion Morlock Corps.  Kushan IV was now a forward operating base in the Stygian wars.
