The Alpha legion strike force continued to close on the imperial cruiser Warspite. The two murder class cruisers opened fire. With it's shields down and multiple fires raging on multiple decks the barrage of macro cannon and plasma warheads gutted the cruiser.
The explosive exposure to the void doused the inferno below decks and left the cruiser a drifting hulk. Meanwhile the Alpha legion escorts began to intercept the Justicar determined to see this last imperial ship destroyed.
