Operation Hemiplegia part3

 

As Operation Hemiplegia unfolded as part of the grand sector wide Crimson Dragon Offensive, an Alpha legion operative gained access to the auspex shrine of the orbital defense platform.  He quickly killed the staff and sabotaged the equipment before making a bold escape.

As a result the defense platform would be effectively blind for weeks to come.  The station would be unable to detect let alone engage any approaching ships.  For the confused and besieged imperial authorities it was a clear indicator that an invasion force was inbound.
