Operation Hemiplegia continued as a part of the sector wide Crimson Dragon Offensive. Many of the mutant labor forces on the mining facilities on Kushan IV went into sudden open revolt. Adeptus mechanicus forces were caught off guard and overwhelmed initially. Mechanicus leadership was quick to enable kill protocols in an effort to stamp out the rebellion.
Not lost on the Mechanicus was the fact that their forces were redeploying and having their attention shifted inward instead of against external threats. And while they feared this to be a prelude to invasion their responses were limited.
