Operation Headsman part 8

 

Kushan IV- with secure landing fields the Alpha Legion began unloading heavy equipment for the conquest of Kushan IV.

Coordinating with the insurgents, Heavy Assault formations were dispatched to areas were the imperials were holding out.  These heavy attacks in conjunction with insurgent assaults saw imperial strongpoints in towns and mining outposts overrun.  Those few locations that managed to put up any credible resistance were bombarded by orbital strikes before being finished off by the heavy assault groups.
