As possessed warbands began to play a greater part of the stygian wars, the cases of possession like wise rose. Masters of possession began ritual bonding pit fighting champions with shades of the ruinous powers. The result were human warriors with inhuman combat skills and abilities. No more cultists these formed an elite overlord position in a possessed warband. They were in command of their own formations of cultists.
