An ancient order restored by the imperial regent, the sisters of silence appeared and began to engage in the stygian wars. Made up of women with the pariah gene they were an anathema to psychers and the warp. They began recruiting and training in imperial space expanding their limited numbers. They were used in special operation missions during the stygian wars. They often hunted enemy psychers or were used to spearhead assaults into warp heavy areas. Their natural abilities combined with their intense combat training made them a truly elite force.
