Prelude to the battle of El Portazo- Zaragozan War

 

Orders 11th combat detachment 3rd Anglican regiment Ulland theatre Zaragoza

Per Imperial high command in concordance with the Watch Knights chapter of the Adeptus Astartes-  the 11th combat detachment of the Anglican 3rd Regiment is to advance and occupy the drifter settlement known as El Portazo.  The detachment is to establish a forward artillery and patrol base at El Portazo capable of controlling the surrounding area and tribal and scavenger settlements adjacent to El Portazo.  The population is to be detained for deviancy screening followed by retraining and tasking as a work force.  You are to furthermore recruit and train a militia force from amongst the natives for induction into the Planetary defense force.  You are also ordered to seize any noctolith found at El Portazo and the surrounding settlements.  Resistance to Imperial authority is to be crushed with lethal force.  The forward base constructed is to act as a spring board for future operations into the Ulland continent.

Grimm- Warriors of the Black Legion, allies of the dark mechanicus and to the faithful of the gods.  We strike the Ulland settlement of El Portazo on Zaragoza.  There many of the faithful cry out for our aid.  We come to swell our ranks with their numbers and to seize all the noctolith we can find.  We will swell the ranks of the dead with any of the false emperor's servants that do not bend the knee.  The continent of Ulland shall be ours it's inhabitants living and dead our servants.  This we do for the gods, the legion, and for the war master.  When we have finished gorging ourselves on Ulland our newly sworn allies will lead the way across the rest of Zaragoza.  A brutal horde that shall be our herald of death and destruction!
