The compact
Ossuary moon of Vittoru.
"Grimm" Vashtor said, his voice booming with malignant threat over every vox. "Will you treat with me or must I destroy Brutus?" Vashtor asked. His voice carrying tones of dark amusement.
Grimm knew he had little choice. Holding on to the surging tide of warp power Grimm walked to the edge of the warded ruins.
"What do you want?" Grimm asked.
" so disrespectful, " Vashtor chuckled " Maybe I need to teach you a lesson and leave you abasing yourself on your knees before me."
"We are the chosen of your allie Abaddon we need not kneel!" Socratis shouted.
Vashtor chuckled harshly. "Abaddon is my ally but our accord doesn't cover you. As for his chosen," Vashtor laughed mockingly "Chosen of what, sacrifice? The disposable? You are nothing but pawns who arrogantly believe you are vital and useful. You are not. Though you could be if you were to show a little respect" Vashtor said.
The black legionnaires were quiet at this as the daemon’s words pricked their pride and their souls. It was right and Grimm hated him for it.
"You are right, Vashtor the mighty." Harkon shouted. "What would you have of us?"
Grimm felt rage. Harkon was overstepping once more.
"In exchange for Brutus here, This moon will be yours. I am only here to see the fool prince Duroloc repay his pact with me. His failure here renders him in breach his essence and power forfeit. Perhaps I will even remake your Grave-Tithe Colossus once more using Duroloc as it's engine. The moon will be yours but you will recruit a heretech priesthood here that will worship me and build heretch shrines and forges here in my name and in service to Grimm. Grimm will dedicate the destruction of every warmachine you destroy in my name and for my glory. The legend of Grimm and the new dark cult of Vashtor will grow together."
"Agreed great Vashtor." Grimm said as he drew a blade to seal the deal in his blood.
"Ahh not yet. In addition you Grimm owe me a service at a time and place of my choosing. That is our compact" Vashtor said.
Grimm hesitated. He did not want any pact held over him. Still he saw little choice. Grimm was no fool he glared at Vashtor and then spoke.
"The pact is I get this moon, I build a shrine forge upon it in your name who provides me with weapons and wargear. I provide a place in my new realm for your cults give them my protection in exchange for service. Dedicate all machine kills in your name and owe you a service. Is that correct?" Grimm asked.
"Essentially. " Vashtor replied.
" Not enough."Grimm said. " I will agree to this pact only if you undo the damage I have suffered here today. Repair Brutus and the Grave-Tithe Colossus in addition to ceeding this moon and all upon it to me and we have an accord."
"Done" Vashtor said.
