Vostroyan guards command squad

 

Vostroyan command squads could be found leading Vostroyan infantry squads into battle.  The command squads typically rode into battle in Taurox's instead of Chimera apc's and were often accompanied by platoon and company heavy weapon squads.

The officers of the 8th Vostroyan guards army were all graduates of officer training schools on Vostroya attended by the nobility.  Thus all officers were nobles.  Unfortunately class and noble political affiliations mattered more than merit when it came to promotions in the Vostroyan 8th Guards Army which occasionally led to poor battlefield commanders and higher casualty rates.
