A heavy fire fight broke out then with the death guard taking cover save for two plague marines advancing up on the gantry. Fire flew ineffectively back and forth until brother Corvinus sent a bolt punching through a death guard's pauldron wounding him.
Tiberian saw the plague marines in the ruins ahead of him. He focused his mind on the righteous disgust he felt at the sight of these traitors. Then he lashed out with his mind and hurled a bolt of psychic lightning that blew the head off of the plague marine.
Meanwhile on the gantry brother Didius advanced on the approaching death guard emptying his bolt carbine into one of the plague marines before releasing the carbine to its combat sling. He then drew his bolt pistol as he marched forward pumping rounds into the traitor until it fell dead at his feet.
