During the siege of hive kleist imperial forces were hunted by a chaos spawn on the lower hab level 4. This beast projected a psychic wave that inspired panic. It was thought that the beast fed off the fear it inspired as much as the bodies of its victims. It would attack wipe out a squad and withdraw only to strike again. Imperial soldiers began whispering in fear of the beast.
