Zagosan war- Decisions

 

Grimm was healing in the aftermath of the attack on FOB Ajax.  He lay in a warp fugue coma as his transhuman metabolism and warp powers healed him.  Decisions needed to be made in the meantime.  Harkon stood with Draco and Socratis the sorcerer.

     "The tribes and clans here will abandon us if they feel we can't win.  Something must be done and done quickly." Socratis hissed.

     "Grimm will determine our next action, we wait for him and then we destroy that base." Draco said.

     "There isn't time." Harkon said eyeing the other two.  "Socratis is right, the tribes and clans will desert us if we don't act quickly and stabilize the situation."

     " You mean to hit the base again?" Socratis asked acidly.

     "Grimm must decide on" Draco began but then Harkon cut him off.

     "No.  Abaddon determined our next target with the mission he gave us.  Harvest the noctolith and establish the route through the great rift.  We are not attacking a stronghold.  We are too weak at the moment.  No we stick to the original mission and then branch out from there." Harkon said firmly.

     "Gathering noctolith will not influence the tribes." Socratis said.  "They care not for mining."

     " They will care if we take an existing excavation currently in Imperial hands.  That will be a victory and a rallying point for the tribes.  I suggest we have Mortis Rex and Carrion hound hit this admech excavation site ADS 247.  They wipe it out we take the on site material.  We bribe the tribes with weapons and let them raid the entire province.  That will keep the Imperium busy and their attention elsewhere.  We then harvest the noctolith until Grimm recovers and determines our next strategic move.  Agreed?" Harkon asked.

    Reluctantly they agreed and the chaos knight strike force moved out towards admech site ADS 247.
