Attack on the blood storm spacehulk

 Imperium Nihlis- Orbit of Gorash III-  The bombardment of Hive Sturgis from orbit had created incredible destruction and had hindered the Imperial forces from establishing a coherent defense.  Captain Dravin had his strike cruiser attack the Space Hulk codified as Blood Storm.  After a fierce naval engagement that saw the strike cruiser battered the void shield dropped on the Blood Storm.  Captain Dravin launched a mass teleport assault onto the hulk seeking to silence it's guns.

The Apocalypse Angels teleported into a vessel of the damned, haunted by the warp and the shades of the many victims who had previously perished aboard the hulk.  Dark Angel corpses decorated the corridors along with warp spectres.  The Apocalypse Angels stormed the corridors gunning down deranged cultists and making their way to the gun controls.  A sudden mad howling echoed in the corridors and suddenly a tide of khorne berserkers were upon them, foaming at the mouth as they hacked and slashed at the Apocalypse Angels.  The Apocalypse Angels fought valiantly in the tight narrow confines.  Yet for every berserker they cut down another took his place.  Apocalypse Angels began falling hacked apart by the insane fury of the favored of Khorne.  They could make no headway against the tide.  Even worse they were being pushed back.  First one then two squads were wiped out by the tide of berserkers that raced over them.  The khornate horde cut off corridors and enveloped the remaining Apocalypse Angels forcing them into a last stand.  With both blood maddened berserkers and cruel warp spirits assailing them, the survivors teleported back to their battered strike cruiser.  The guns of the Blood Storm continued to relentlessly pound Hive Sturgis.  It's grisly haunted corridors now festooned with the mutilated corpses of the Apocalypse Angels.
