During the Stygian wars the Alpha legion cult and insurgent forces made use of suicide bombers in assassination attempts as well as sabotage operations. These efforts were often in concert with a coordinated Alpha legion strike or Stygian offensive. While many of the bombers were fanatical cultist some were not. The Alpha legion took delight in using prisoners either psychicly controlled or coerced by threats and promises about the fate of fellow prisoners into carrying out these atrocities.
