During the stygian wars the Alpha legion used a large number of agents on behalf of the stygian empire. A number of these agents were assassins. Some of these were snipers, some prisoners, and some we deft with a blade. Local imperial command and control was frequently thrown into chaos by the actions of these agents. Worse for imperial forces was these attacks would often be a prelude to a larger attack while the imperial command was stunned and it's control shakey.
