Commodore Kangas ordered the Justicar to full burn in a effort to escape the Alpha legion trap that had devastated his task force. Too late the decision had come however as multiple volleys of plasma and macro cannon fire slammed into the cruiser. Klaxons wailed on the bridge. " Damage report!" Kangas screamed over the commotion. "Fires on decks 7 through 28. Prow and port guns offline. Master of ordinance has had to eject magazines 4,5,9,and 15 to prevent them from catastrophic detonation. Engine room reports a critical reactor spike! They say it is going to bl....."
A blinding explosion filled the void as the Justicar exploded.
With the imperial task force destroyed the Alpha legion ships moved in to board and then tow the drifting hulk Warspite back as a prize to be refitted and made to serve the Alpha legion.
