Sponge attack

Tiaga Prime- Southern Front- Kitchner Offensive D+6- In a further effort to slow the Imperial breakthrough small units of Stygian forces equipped with anti armor weapons and with mechanized transport began using what was known as sponge tactics.  These units would ambush the leading spearhead units of the Imperial advance inflicting a number of casualties and bringing the advance to a temporary halt.
