Sertorius is the commander of the Alpha Legion 7th Hydra's SIGMA fleet. The SIGMA fleet is composed of two cruisers, various smaller raider ships and a few transports. The SIGMA fleet serves as a acquisition and supply flotilla for the 7th Hydra company of the Alpha Legion. They often engage in piratical raids capturing ships, munitions and supplies for the main force. Sertorius was given command of the SIGMA fleet by Lord Magwar. Sertorius is a brilliant if unorthodox commander who excelled at welding disparate forces into a unified force. Sertorius enjoys the freedom of a Independent command the SIGMA fleet offers him. Sertorius is also renown for his skill as a swordsman. He wields a warp tainted blade known as the diviner as it is said to contain a daemon who acts as a seer for Sertorius. Sertorius was given his command of the SIGMA fleet for his absolute loyalty to the legion as much as his tactical and strategic accumen. He has developed a capable command cadre that further enhances the reputation and capabilities of the SIGMA fleet. The SIGMA fleet under Sertorius continues to provide the 7th Hydra company with captured supplies as well as establishing hidden caches and bases throughout the galaxy.
