Icon bearer

Death Guard icon bearers were quickly made a priority target as the followers of nurgle took part in greater numbers in the Stygian Wars.  The foul Icons strengthened the resolve of fanatical zealots into frenzied levels.  They also had a negative effect on Imperial morale and posed a risk of moral corruption if viewed too long.
