Stygian Sapper

Sapper attacks were a frequently employed throughout the Stygian Wars.  These consisted of a militia man or Stygian Guardsmen trained in the use of explosives as well as infiltration.  These sappers would often then infiltrate through imperial lines in a number of missions.  In some cases they would lay down demolitions to blow obstacles and clear a path for a Stygian attack force.  other times they would detonate fuel depots and ammunition stores.  In still other cases they would destroy artillery prior a major assault.  Sappers quickly garnered the ire of any imperial force in theatre and were often executed on the spot when caught.
