Heldrakes
Used extensively by both Stygian forces and their Alpha Legion overlords. The Heldrake was a fearsome air support asset. Armed either with a hades pattern autocannon, or a napalm throwing flamer it was able to engage a vast array of targets effectively. It's ability to claw and rend imperial aircraft with it's talons led a new and sinister aspect to air combat. The daemonicly powered war machine proved resistant to damage and a tendency to use it's claws to snatch up and kill enemy infantry had a demoralizing effect on frontline Imperial units.
